In this guide, you'll learn how to create a product whose variants make up a bundle of products.

While the inventory kits feature supports bundled products, it doesn't support all bundle features, such as a custom price for the bundle or separate fulfillment for each item. For these advanced cases, work with your development team to implement a custom bundle flow.

Bundle Products with Inventory Kits

Suppose you sell a camera, a lens, and a camera bag separately, but you also want to sell them together as a bundle at a different price.

Aiminaabee supports variants with inventory kits, which is a collection of inventory items that make up the variant. To create a bundle product, create a product with a variant that has an inventory kit made up of each included product variant's inventory items.

The camera bundle would be a variant with the inventory items of the camera, lens, and camera bag. You can then manage the bundle product separately, including its price. When the variant is purchased, the inventory items are automatically deducted from stock based on the required quantity.

How to Create a Bundle Product

You create a product with bundle variants as explained in the Create Product guide. For variants that make up the bundle, enable the Has inventory kit toggle in the Variants step.

Enable has inventory kit

This opens a new step in the product creation form, where you can add inventory items from the product variants that make up the bundle. For each inventory item, you can specify the quantity required for the variant to be purchasable.
